Known as “The Cathedral of Motorcycling,” the Assen Circuit, situated near Assen, Netherlands, hosts the Dutch Motorcycle Grand Prix of the World Motorcycle Racing Championship and the World Superbike Championship.
In recent years, it has expanded its capacity to include races for both two and four-wheeled vehicles, welcoming championships such as Champ Cars, Superleague Formula, DTM, and TCR Europe.
Spanning 4,545 metres with a total of 18 corners, six left-handers and twelve right-handers, the circuit is surrounded amidst lush green hills where the grandstands are positioned.
In 2019, the circuit decided to upgrade its security lighting system, entrusting Pixelcom for the renovation. Pixelcom’s permanent signalling systems (FIA approved) play an important role in ensuring the safety of drivers and marshals on the track.
