Base station timing decoder

Base Station Timing Decoder determines the exact time at which each transponder passes through the detection loops. The decoder sends this data to the timekeeper's computer.  Another function of the decoder would be to control the speed of the kart in different sectors of the track and the pit lane access area.

The detection loops are embedded in the track surface, at the start and finish line and at intermediate timing points. In addition, they can be embedded in virtually any type of track and surface, snow, mud, dirt, asphalt and even ice.
